Q: Can I create my own categories for my Google Business Profile (Google Page)?

A: No, you cannot create custom categories for your Google Business Profile. Google already has a comprehensive list of predefined categories to choose from that best describe your business.

You can combine existing categories: If no single category fully captures your business, consider combining multiple categories that closely align with what you offer.

Q: Can I use more than one category?

A: Google allows you to add up to 10 categories. First pick a primary category and then add additional categories that describe your business. Note, the categories you pick must be a product or service you offer. Google is very strict about this. Here is a list of Google Categories.
